Wautoma High School is presenting a FAFSA Night on Monday, January 15th at 6:00 PM in the Wautoma High School Library for all 2023-2024 Seniors. The event will include a presentation about the FAFSA (Free Application of Federal Student Aid). Following the presentation, students/families will be able to complete the FAFSA that night with the help of volunteers and FVTC FAFSA expert Mike Gawel. The FAFSA is required for all students hoping to receive financial assistance if they plan to attend a technical school or college after graduation. Please see below for the information on what to bring with you to complete the FAFSA. - 2022 Federal Tax Return and W2s - 2022 Untaxed Income Records, such as child support or veterans's non-education benefits - Information on savings, investments, business assets and farm assets (if applicable) - Driver’s License (if you have one) - Cell phone (if you have one) - Social Security Number - Alien Registration Card or Permanent Resident Card (if you are not a U.S. citizen) - Date of birth for parents - Month and year of parents’ marriage, divorce, or separation It is helpful if your FSA ID is created prior to the event, but is not required. Please reach out to school counselors, Brittaney Krueger or Brittany Marshall-Zoellner shall you have additional questions.

A big thank you to Heim Farms, Redgranite, WI for donating 90 dozen of farm fresh eggs for our school breakfast program! We will be serving fresh scrambled eggs at each of our schools on Friday, Jan. 12th. Breakfast is free to all WASD students regardless of income! WASD recently received a Breakfast Expansion Grant and will be implementing more fresh from scratch cooking and minimally processed foods to the breakfast menu! #WISchoolMealsRock #F2S

Kindergarten scientists at Redgranite Elementary set sail on a wooden adventure on Thursday! Discovering the buoyancy of wood, students turned blocks into rafts, testing the waters with paperclips. Students worked to determine how many paperclips it would take to sink their raft. Post-dunk, each student counted their paperclips and engaged in a class-wide comparison of results. Check out some of the excitement with these snapshots from their hands-on experiment!
