Redgranite Kindergartners had their 5th grade buddies help them get ready to celebrate Valentine's Day by designing and creating their Valentine collection bags with them. It was a colorful afternoon, filled with fun!
The American Honey Queen and the American Honey Princess began their nationwide tour at Redgranite Elementary School Monday morning! These lovely ladies will be "buzzing" across America talking about the importance of honey bees and the honey industry. It was an honor to have the ladies come and speak to the third grade students. The children had fun learning all about honey bees.
The American Honey Queen is Kaelyn Sumner from Wisconsin. The American Honey Princess is Lainey Bell from Maine. You can follow these ladies on their webpage buzzingacrossamerica.com.

The Head Cooks from each school in the district and the Food Service Director learned how to make from scratch Indian food by Sara Parthasarathy from Flavor Temptations today. Sara and Partha, are immigrants from India. They are based in Madison, Wisconsin and operate a minority-woman-owned business. They are passionate about sharing their cultural cooking with school districts to bring delicious global flavors to your students with their spice blends.
