The WHS cheerleaders started practice this week! They have been working hard to learn cheers, sideline dances, and stunting. We also want to thank two of our cheer alums, Jennifer Liu and Sky Sharp, for volunteering their time to help get the girls ready for the season! Throughout the week, WHS Vocal Music Director Josh Barker held a Choir Camp to allow incoming freshman the chance to learn more about the choir program, as well as provide an opportunity for the entire cast of "Footloose" to work on their upcoming fall musical.

The Wautoma High School Football Team volunteered for the annual Augustfest Duck Races in downtown Wautoma this past Saturday.

On Monday, August 12, Culver’s in Wautoma will donate 10% of all sales to the Vision 2020 Backpack Nutrition Program to help meet the need within the community. This donation will also be matched by a Madison-based foundation! Hope to see you there!

The Vision 2020 Backpack Nutrition Program is kicking off the annual Packer Backer Campaign to raise funds to meet local needs. All funds are used to purchase food and program supplies.

The Back to School Bash will be held this Saturday, August 10, in the Demonstration Room of the Waushara County Courthouse. Backpacks filled with school supplies will be available for purchase at $2 each on a first come, first serve basis. Proof of residency and/or proof that child attends a school located in Waushara County is required.

The Fall Athletic seasons are fast approaching. Make sure to register online through Infinite Campus and get your physicals up to date. Starting dates: Football - Aug 5th Cheer - Aug 12th XC- Aug 19th Soccer - Aug 19th Volleyball - Aug 19th GO HORNETS!!!
