Mrs. Barker and Mrs. Pietkauskis's class took on the Classroom Book a Day Challenge this year! They read at least one book every single day for the entire year! At the end of each week they voted on which book they liked the best. At the end of each month, they voted which book they liked the best from their weekly winners. Today each class took their monthly winners and voted for the best book of the year! The winner in Mrs. Barker's class was Barnacle is Bored by Jonathan Fenske and the winner in Mrs. Pietkauskis's class was The Book With No Pictures by B.J. Novak.
The Wautoma Area School District will be offering free meals through the USDA Summer Food Program during Camp Parkside!

All children 18 years of age and under are eligible to receive free meals. No need to sign up, apply for the program or participate in the summer school program at Camp Parkside. Just show up at meal time. Meals must be eaten in the cafeteria and be 18 years of age or younger.

ATTENTION 1st-8th Grade Parents:
The 2022 Youth Volleyball Camp Brochures are being delivered to Redgranite, Riverview, and Parkeside offices today. Make sure to stop in and grab one!
Camp is open to any child entering 1st-8th grade this upcoming school year. Camp registration includes a week of instruction given by the WHS Varsity Volleyball team and a t-shirt. Registration will close June 22nd.

Parkside students met their 3500 Hornet Report Goal this year! The students voted at the beginning of the year to set their school wide goals. 3500 was their top tier to have Mrs. Kintigh and the tech ninjas dress as Gru and Minions.
The WHS Jazz Band performed at both lunches today to celebrate the senior's last day. Congratulations, class of 2022! You will be missed.

Is your child 11 – 18 years old and interested in exploring the medical field? This may be the perfect summer camp! This Medical Assistant camp is being offered on Wednesday, June 22nd, from 8:30 – 12:00 (noon) at the FVTC - Wautoma Regional Center. Cost is $40, which includes a camp T-shirt to take home.
