2nd graders at Redgranite Elementary School practiced math skills by building towers. The skills they practiced are trying their best, not giving up, trying something different when they're frustrated, listening to others, and encouraging others. These second graders were very creative in overcoming their tower challenge!

Last night the Wautoma High School Volleyball Team took on Berlin for the first home game of the season. After a hard-fought four-set match, the Hornets fell to the non-conference Indians, 1-3. On Thursday, Sept. 8, the volleyball teams will open their South Central Conference Season against Adams-Friendship on Thursday, Sept. 8. The inaugural Bleed Orange Night will feature raffle baskets and a bake sale. The JV and JVR Teams begin at 5:30 PM and Varsity starts at 7 PM. Hope to see you there!

This fall, Mrs. Sarah Pietkauskis will be transitioning into a new role at Riverview Elementary. As the Behavior Intervention Specialist Mrs. Pietkauskis will be collaborating specialists, teachers, and administration in providing instruction and/or support to individuals and small groups of students who have behaviorally or motivational challenges. In this leadership role Mrs. Pietkauskis will be monitoring, redirecting, and modifying student progress and plans related to behavior and performance both in-class and out-of-class. Mrs. Pietkauskis is excited to use her skills to help students find what they need to be successful and help them learn how to use those skills to reach their goals. Basic job duties include: Prepare fruit, vegetables and other food assigned, assist with serving line, assist in daily clean up, sanitation and disinfecting, perform duties of head cook when assigned, during absence of the head cook, operate dishwasher, clean and sanitize trays, silverware, pots and pans and perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
