Governor Evers has issued Executive Order #90 that continues the facial covering mandate through at least November 21st, 2020. The Wautoma Area School District will follow this Executive Order in the same manner that we followed the current mask mandate. Link to this order: Executive Order #90
Please note that the Waushara County Health Department has sent a document to all Waushara County Public Schools communicating strong advisement that if we want to continue In-Person classes, we need to continue requiring the wearing of facial coverings. Per Board Policy 8450 Control of Casual-Contact Communicable Diseases, the WASD would have followed this recommendation until further notice even if a new state level order was not provided, and we will adhere to this recommendation if this Executive Order is overturned.
