Governor Tony Evers today directed Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) Secretary-designee Andrea Palm to extend the Safer at Home order from April 24, 2020 to 8 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020, or until a superseding order is issued. This order includes: Schools: Public and private K-12 school buildings and grounds will remain closed for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year. All athletic and extracurricular activities are also canceled for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.
However, Wautoma Area School District At-Home Instruction and Learning will continue through May 29, 2020.
The Wautoma Area School District will continue the current Food Distribution Program at our designated sites until at least May 29, 2020.
The District Administrator will communicate important messages over the next few weeks regarding essential topics such as but not limited to: the 2020 Graduation Ceremony, Return of District Educational Resources, the Distribution of Personal Items to Families, Summer School, and other topics as needed.
